| History |
|
In 1988, Share Link Stockbrokers & Investment Consultants was founded by Mr. Christodoulos Ellinas and Mr. Philip X. Larkos. Originally the Company was set to provide investment management services for and on behalf of its clients. By 1996, the partnership evolved into Share Link Securities Ltd (SLS) and became member of the Cyprus Stock Exchange. Following two years of steady growth it once again shed its old skin and Sharelink Financial Services Ltd (SFS) emerged, a broad based financial services group with strong, reputable presence in Cyprus. SLS became subsidiary to SFS.
In 2002, SFS’ two brokerage subsidiaries, SLS and AAA United Stockbrokers, merged their operations. Finally, all subsidiary companies that offered part of the range of services merged into on unified entity - Sharelink Securities and Financial Services Ltd (Sharelink). Sharelink obtained its licence from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CYSEC) in May 2003, as fully regulated financial services institution (KEPEY) licensed to offer the full range of financial services.
